Indisposed attempt to take measures at Farmgate, Mohakhali and Banani in Dhaka city, the presence of proxy-wives therein in front of law enforcing agency are noticeable that ultimately persuade us to remark that allowing such acts GOB is bypassing the burden of constitutional and moral responsibilities and throwing the capital dwellers in a society that may perceptibly create a bizarre society ¾ morally imprecise, irresponsible and porous.
Section 18 (2) under the title of ‘Public Health and Morality'; the constitution of Bangladesh directs that GOB will take effective measures to prevent prostitution.
Our investigation suggests that the mechanism of GOB (Government of Bangladesh) applies so refutably that the upshot of the rules directed in sections aforementioned and other laws so made for the prevention of prostitution that we jokingly renamed by ‘proxy-wife' is not working properly.
Within 1000 yards of the paternal residence of the Present Minister for Home Affairs at Farmgate in the capital prostitution disease has disseminated so dejectedly that we can not but alarmed that a pitiful outbreak succeeded not only in the capital city but in the rest of the country also.
These proxy wives whisper the men in general and younger in particular in front of law enforce at Farmgate by Ananda Cinema Hall at Farmgate, in front of HR Bhaban at Kakrail, Golap Shah majar at Gulistan or High Court at Ramna. Should they be naked, that is not our expectation, we are also ashamed and shocked that they wear ‘Burkha' and inside the black box, they hawk the customers to do intercourse either at customer's house or at the residential hotels or message parlour in and around Farmgate, Kawran bazar and Kakrail. By this, a provocation is drawn, “Look! that Burkhawali does the prostitution. Do you want to prescribe me to wear Burkha? Shame!” If this is heard from any Muslim woman it is to be concluded that allowing such an act, it may be proved that GOB is clearly involved in slandering Islamic values. If they do so, they may be convicted to despoiling the dignity of our religion (Islamic value).
We really feel embarrass to chalk out such a picture in our website, but we can not discharge our burden of responsibility that the state mechanism really goes a different way. Corruption and inactiveness, prostitution, poverty are so institutionalized such a piece of writing in my little website may be an effort of David against the giant Goliath. State mechanism in Bangladesh has weaved such a net through social network, news media and through different organs those who are vocal in favor of morality, independence and our beloved religious value Islam are like insane demon !
It is noticeable that these proxy wives (prostitutes) take shelter at different residential hotels at Kakrail, Maghbazar, Nababpur (A few is prevalent occasionally), Topkhana, Elephant Road in few months have been shut-down, but doing so all roads for prostitutes or proxy wives are lead towards Kawran Bazar, Farmgate, Mohakhali and Banani illegally without respecting the Metropolitan Police Act or Municipality Act. Since lots of peoples especially college and university goers gather there, such provocation is ultimately depreciate the standard of morality resulting cruelty and irresponsibility are rampaged among them.
Moreover, the scenes of the parks in the capital are so vulnerable that if you just visit at Chandrima Uddan, Surawardy Park (If you just graze at the foot over bridge in front of Engineers' Institute at Ramna you may find condoms of condoms), Farm gate you must testify by pointing out lots of condoms packet even in the broad daylight that we are passing through toughest days. In addition, a party culture so organized with model girls by the derailed class at different homes, pubs is also a concern. In the case of garments workers colony there are some proxy wife practicing. From our investigation at Mirpur-7 industrial quarter, some housewives rent their houses to the garments workers. Girls and boys are indiscriminately allowed to live. To please the superior boss and to pacify her and male co-worker, story of illicit relation is heard. Those housewives in some cases arrange such a malpractice. Garments workers are far away from their families and have the opportunity to move free. Since they are low paid, they are tempted by their male friend to get stationed at residential hotels, message parlor and in different home based adultery. Apart from the women those chase wearing Burkha at Farmgate, garments workers are the prime input to these brothels actively spoiling the backbone of morality of the nation. Our investigation further suggested that since Farmgate and Banani occupy lots of colleges and universities, if some feel to bring his girl-friend, has the opportunity. There was a case seen by the reviewer that confirmed the claim. The incident took place at West Inn at Kawran Bazaar in the capital.
More interestingly this has not brought peace in the minds of juvenile and in the society at all. Allah dictates that adultery, drugs, gambling etc are the tasks of the evils and those can not bring peace in the society. This has been proved correct since the statistics of crimes jump day by day; dissemination of corruption, robbery, murder has gone so widespread in Bangladesh , we should take measures to curve it.
Furthermore, to put in the track properly, section 40 of the constitution ‘lawful profession or occupation' is to be clarified. Since section 18(2) of the constitution guarantees to prevent prostitution, section 40 of the constitution must not go a far away: it is to be said that prostitution can not be taken as a profession. This amendment may lead toward one step forward of islamisation of the constitution of Bangladesh .
Those who argues that poverty is the reason of prostitution then it is to be asked why other than certain numbers of women out of nearly 4 crore unemployed men and women in Bangladesh do not take prostitution as a profession? It is a sexual perversion and need to be controlled through constant check and balance.
In an Islamic society prostitution is checked in iron hand and simultaneously efforts to eliminate the reasons like poverty through distribution Zakat and directing monetary flow through investment and remission of family feud through consultation and realistic direction are undertaken. In this situation, we must call upon the GOB to take constitutional liability in the direction of checking prostitution (that we jokingly say ‘proxy wives'). If actions seen insufficiently taken, we must claim that GOB is not abiding by the commitment set forth the existing constitution.
List of the residential hotels where prostitution /proxy wives are heaped:
Kawran Bazaar: Hotel Prime [ 61, Kawran Bazaar, Dhaka] , Hotel Agomon, Hotel New Metro Raz, Hotel Parvez International[ 73, Kawran Bazaar, Dhaka], Akash Inn [154 East Testuri Bazar Farmgate, Dhaka], West Inn [94 Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, Kawran Bazaar], Hotel Prottasha, Hyatt Regency (76/A Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue) [Plot owner of Hyatt Regency is Babul Shaeb and Rajib Babu has been rented to operate residential Hotel that is ultimately used as a brothel the building is mortgaged in Premier Bank.]
Banani: Dhaka Inn, Hotel Purnima International, Hotel New Sonargaon International, Hotel Kakoli Inn, Hotel Pulok, Hotel Sea Queen.
Hohakhali: Hotel Chandro Mukhi.
Message Palour: 2 nd and 3 rd Floor at 76 no. Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue , Farmgate, Dhaka . (Plot owner some Babu) The manger of the parlour Nurul Islam (Mobile Phone no. 01716814985) informed to this reviewer that they pay regular money to 400 journalists and Thana . An advocate has the chamber at the adjacent Rahman Chamber informed that while police chase the girls come across the roof of the adjacent Rahmania Chamber and customers are locked. And then police black mail asking huge amount of money. While I visited a men seen in the desk said that he is a law enforcers and do this business. For all other residential hotels the payment system is same and the system for blackmailing is almost same as said in the above.
Convicted Cinema Hall (Basically in Dhaka ): Ananda Cinema Hall (Farm gate), Kakrail, Purobi Cinema Hall and Sony Cinema Hall, Purnima at Naya paltan.
Tips to find out convicted residential hotels: Once you walk by the footpath, if you find that in front of any residential hotel nearly six to seven men ( young and middle ages) are stationed, it may be concluded that there is something problem inside there. Yes, when you ask for girl or Bhabi, one of the brokers in general a male will chase you and he will get commission from the girl used.
Nature of the ID of the broker: A small visiting card will be presented by the broker for further contact that may consist of the name of the broker, hotel name and mobile phone number.
Why has these been opened? In order to appease the young college varsity students and to loose the moral audacity, these perilous hubs/hotels/ parlour have been opened to destroy the morality since it is known that character is lost everything is lost. A person having lost character and addicted to ‘proxy wife' may even sale the country in the long run.
In fine, we expect that GOB would rip up prostitution and eliminate proxy wife culture through employment/ social security allowance/ and motivational program so that young generation and perverted married may get a successful conjugal life in time and may lead a secured life having Iman or faith.
Marriage contribution in reality
By Misbahu Abba Dandago , Nigeria .
There has to be preliminaries before every important and meaningful legal contract particularly that of marriage. In this preliminary discussion, each of the intending party has to clearly define his aim and objective. And the moment agreement is reached, and then the real contract follows.
Marriage contract seems to be the most significant contract in Islam because it legalizes populating the human being on the earth and it is the basis of living together the two spouses up to the end of their life. This preliminary discussion is what is known in Shariah as "Khilbah" i.e. seeking the hand of a girl in marriage with full explanation. Each of the intending party will be fully aware with the intention of the other as with regard to his culture, habit, etc., so as to cement the whole procedure from the begining to the end. Again each party should have a good knowledge of the physical health of each other.
This is why Shariah or Islamic law legalized the intending husband that he should be opportunity to see the will be wife, Islam does not recommend a man to get married blindly otherwise, he will be surprised with something he does not like. AI-Mughirah ibn Shu'ubah one of the companions of the Holy Prophet (SAW) sought a hand of a woman in marriage and the Prophet (SAW) was quoted lo have said to him: "Did you look at her?" AI-Mughirah replied negatively that he did not look at her. The Prophet (SAW) said: "Look at her for that will encourage and beautify your marriage and make it more permanent."
Again Jabir reported that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever court a girl for marriage, if he is chanced to look at her and see what urges him to seek for her marriage, he should do so." Abu Hurairah reported that I was with the Prophet (SAW) when a man came and told him that he was going to get married. The Prophet (SAW) asked him: "Did you look at her?" The man said: "No." The Prophet (SAW) said, " Go and look at her before you get married."
Again in trying to look at her, isolation should be avoided because the Prophet (SAW) said: "If a man isolates himself with a woman, the third person is Satan." It is against Islam to court a woman who has been engaged with somebody, or a woman who is still observing her 'Iddah" (legal period of retirement). It is one of the conditions of 'Khitbah' that a woman whose hand is being sought in marriage must be physically and mentally sound and free from other marriage bond and she must not be unlawful to him like his mother, sister, aunt, daughter, etc.
Definition of marriage, its importance and the wisdom behind it in Islam :
Scholars of various interest particularly those of Islamic Studies have given various meaning of the term of marriage all definitions seems to have one single aim and objective. Generally, we can summarize the definition as -marriage is a civil contract made by mutual consent between a man and a woman witnessed by two or more witnesses so that the man and the woman may establish their home, it can also be defined as - marriage is the legalization of sexual intercourse between two spouses as it is the legal way of generating human beings.
Almighty Allah and His Apostle (SAW) have stated the importance of marriage in Islam. Allah in the Holy Qur'an says: "And one of His signs is that He has created for you spouses from yourselves that you might find rest with them and He ordained between you love and mercy. Surely in this are signs for those who reflect." (30:21)
In the hadith (tradition), the Prophet (SAW) said: " Marry and generate, for I will be proud of you on the Day of Judgment. " Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: " Oh young men those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserves you from immorality, but those who cannot, should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire." (Transmitted by Bukhari & Muslim)
We all know that it is possible for Allah to leave man in ignorance and darkness whereby every man may cohabit with every woman he meets and desires, but clearly this is unfair for man as it will lead to disorder and many social corruptions. But indeed, Allah honored man and made him to be in elevated position to lead and control other creature on the earth. That is Allah has given man intellect wisdom and power over the remaining creatures- For instance, if Allah will allow man to behave the way they like without restriction, definitely man will fight another man like how a ram fights a ram over a sheep.
Again if a man will be allowed to undertake free sexual act with ever." woman, the question of Training the children to behave gently will be completely lost. And if this happens there will be social uprising and unsolvable problem, since no child will receive the needed protection and discipline.
Again it is understood that without marriage, man will not be given the leader of the world as there will be no any system or rule directing people to do what they are required and likewise man cannot be Allah's vicegerent on the earth.
So the aim of marriage is not only to satisfy sexual desire, but to take care of many impossible issues. That is why Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is reported to have said: "Marriage is our way of Life."
Imam Abu Hameed Al- Ghazzali in his book says that there are five benefits in Marriage:
1. To have children.2. To find peace of mind.3. To increase the Divine service. 4. To get reward of duties to family from Allah.
However, there are some conditions governing the marriage to be compulsory (wajib) for anybody capable of marriage and maintaining justice in his family dealing. That is to say when one discover that he cannot control himself from adultery without marriage, after all he is capable of maintaining marriage and can be just to the family. It is compulsory on him because he is quite sure that he will commit adultery (zina) without it. Since avoidance of adultery is obligatory on him, the only remedy is to get married and in Islamic Shariah what is done to protect wajib is also wajib. The marriage becomes haram if one knows that he cannot carry the burden and the responsibility involved in the marriage or he is sure that he will maltreat his wife unjustly. This is because the marriage to him open get to haram and in Islam whatever open get to haram is also haram.
Marriage was not prescribed in order to satisfy the sexual desire, but it was instituted in the first place as a safe guard against lewdness and continence and as a means of procreation, Islam advocates marriage in order to keep human race from extinction, for without marriage families cannot be formed especially on the basis of love, integration and cooperation, for adultery cannot build such principles- At the same time, inheritance does not go to the right owner without the legal marriage.
According to the tradition (hadith) of the Prophet (SAW), states: "When the servant of Allah gets married, he perfects half of his religion, let him then strive to protect the other half by leading a righteous life ."
"Slept camly the Bulbuli of my song..." Kazi Nazrul Islam
BM Desk, 26th September ,2007 :
The quotation put as the tile to this view is taken from a poem written by the National Poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam. He was so shocked with the natural demise of his son that he wrote such grief-stricken verse. He was indeed a good father. However, infanticide in Bangladesh shakes the nerves while awful picture is printed in the news paper. On 20 th April 2007, a brutal infanticide was committed at Pallabi, Dhaka . According to the report of the dailies it was known that two daughters -Mahima Karim (10) and Tasmia Karim (3) were murdered by his father Rezaul Karim. After killing the daughters he drunk poison, the report said. The speculation was drawn as the family feud might have been the cause of this brutality. At the time of murder their mother was at her work place – beauty parlor. The report also said that his father was mentally distressed as he was troubled with his job or business.
Such killing of children is called infanticide. Infanticide is the practice of someone intentionally causing the death of an infant.
According to the police source it is less prevalent of murder than burglary. They are taught at Police academy that murder is committed suddenly, but burglary is committed being organized. This is one of the problems of Bangladesh , so called namely Muslim state, but Islamic law is not practiced and in between Roman system neither our expectation is achieved nor did we are getting the essence of Islam. Some argues that Islamic law can not be adapted to our society, but these misguided sections of the state often forget that during the 1700s,1600s and before that we were guided by Shariah law which ensured stopping such brutality. At the junction of lawlessness the implementation of Islamic law shall make our society more liveable even at digital age. If the law of Islam and ideology is practiced, then a man could never be impatient and ferocious to his/her daughters .A true essence of parentfood found when the sons of our Prophet Muhammad(SM) died he wept and when the son of Adam (AS) died he wept many hundred years . Patience is one of the important tasks of Islam. In many verses Allah urges to be patient. In the Quaran it is said that death and livelihood for the next day is only known to Allah. In western society the anxiety is rampant, as they do mot emphasize on patience. Apart from patience, for the poverty killing of girl-infant is totally forbidden in Islam, our Prophet abolished this vogue practiced in ancient Arab. While Pharaoh commenced to kill boy-infant in Egypt , Allah blessed Hazrat Musa (AS) , Samir etc by the aide of Gibrael (AS) . More over according to Al –Quaran & Hadis: it is harshly forbidden to grab the infant's property receivable from source of inheritance. In our society among the poor people there is a tendency to get more infant .Although they are less fed at their early ages , they are pretended to be the source of their parents .It is also a misconception .A children deprives of getting full physical and psychological aid , he /she becomes the tools of criminals in the society . Most of them are used as the hand of criminals. Even Child labour is one of the forms of exploitation, making our society problematic .According to the Bangladesh Institute of labor Studies, attacks on children constituted over 50 percent of the deaths and sexual assaults reported among domestic workers during the year.
In present so called civilized nations have not yet checked the many forms of infanticide. Killings of infant nearly 5000 in the USA by cross fire and the march of the mothers near Washington DC in 2000 for the safety to their infants veiled the fact that they were not fit enough to check infanticide. Use of narcotics, porous law and less spiritual development are driving to commit infanticide all over the world.
Now it is time to get promised to be harsh on infanticide.

Akhter. 18th September ,2007:
With out glorifying the dignity of women prostitution is such a profession or occupation that filled the hand in full to the organizer of this profession, most cases the male counterpart, as it was an age old- lucrative product for business. Since the aspiration to do intercourse is a by -born nature of a man, (reversely women as well), the business ensured success as it required no more advertisement for. Although prostitution brings money to someone's pocket, the society being burnt with the ‘prostitution diseases 'often can not balance the normality in the society. The impact of this abnormal pacification of sexuality often pushes the legitimate father to act such a behavior that his daughter might have been maltreated by his father.
So the divine guided societies like ours did and do not formally recognizes/ed this hatred profession, although some groups advocate in favor of it. The existing law in Bangladesh , in general, takes the stunt against these activities.
What is prostitution?
According to the World Book Encyclopedia (1976) prostitution is referred as the sexual acts for payment. According to Zarina Rahman khan H.K. Afreen cited in the research paper of Bangladesh National Women Lawyer's Association (BNWLA) (1999) that in our existing social system the women who mitigate the sexual urges of men in exchange for cash are called prostitutes .This profession of the women is called prostitution.
Back ground of this Profession:
There is a controversy whether prostitution was considered as the profession or not, it was widely practiced where the society exploited the women and used them as the tools for the enjoyment of men. Prostitution was widespread in different ancient civilization like Egypt , Greece , Rome , China and India . As the World Book Encyclopedia (1976) urged that in ancient Greece some prostitutes had high social rank and considerable influence .The people of some ancient civilizations associated certain prostitutes with religious activities. In Bengal area this profession was not widespread before the rule of English in 1757. According to the the research paper of Bangladesh National Women Lawyer's Association (BNWLA) (1999) the census of India of 1911 shows that the prostitutes were widespread in Kolkata, the English built city. Bardwan, Presidency Division, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chittagong division's total 12737 prostitutes only 322 prostitutes belonged to Eastern Bengal, the present Bangladesh . Nearly 17 percents of the prostitutes belonged to present Medinipur district and 8.5 percent belonged Burdwan district. In the year 1863, we find the work of Pearimohon Sen entitled “Rand Bhand Mithey Khatha Tin Loe-e- Kolkata” (Prostitute, buffoom and lies –there three make Calcutta ) [Cited in (BNWLA) (1999), pp. 19] .After the creation of a Muslim state Pakistan , they were not able to abolish the institutionalized prostitution in Mymensingh, Jessore, Goalondo, English road Tanpara in Naraygonj ,the legacy of English rule for the support of the beaurocrats since they seemed to be the vanguard of the English rule . Although the formal brothel based prostitution in Dhaka ( English Road ) and Narayan gonj (Tanpara) were uprooted within last ten years, the new form of prostitution is rooted in Bangladesh .
What is the new form of prostitution in Dhaka ?
Establishment of prostitution shaped a new form not only in Dhaka but also in other parts of Bangladesh . After the liberation war in 1971, secularism was stately nourished and so a generation suspicious to religion and with the patron of a section of powerful elite prostitution in Bangladesh grew up vigorously .The personal lifestyles of two female leaders of the two main parties and one General President's looseness, invigorated the profession. Through the nourishment of NGO prostitution became part of the state. Many NGOs funded from western countries had taken different steps to mashroom the prostitution. In the name of checking AIDS they only provide contraception, acknowledged the status of their professions and the legal rights of them and nothing else . A group of feminist likely incepted in the UK and the USA in the first half of 1900 th century, so called restoration of the rights of prostitution became the vital issue .As a result instead of decreasing the number of prostitution the number is increasing day by day. There are two types of prostitutes in Bangladesh .
Floating prostitute
Brothel/ house/ hotel based prostitute.
Floating Prostitutes:
Floating prostitute are scattered all over in Dhaka . They contact with the clients and move to the suitable places consulting with the customers. Farm gate in Dhaka became the big bazaar for prostitute . In front of Ananda cinema hall up to Grameen Phone office a sizeable number of prostitutes are seen wearing burkha. In order to hide their face and to dishonoring the Islamic symbol they use burkha without the resistance of Tejgoan Police Station. Second largest place in the south gate of High court Mazar. Different baul singers meet there and are rented for prostitution. More over corner to the Foreign Ministry building bound to Segun Bagicha road, in front of HR Bhaban at Kakrail bus stand are the spot for prostitutes. In addition, Shahah bag, Dhaka University campus, Baily road theatre, Bouchak market, Goachia Market, Baldha garden and Zia uddyan, Romona Park is the spot where lower middle class women are gathered for prostitution .They are contacted by mobile Phone. In the lower homeless class are seen Gulistan Hockey and Kabadi market complex, Different slums established in rail way property indifferent spot from Tongi to Naraygonj and other slum areas , behind the Ramana Kali Mondir, Farmgate park. The parks of DCC are a grazing fields of the prostitute .In those areas lights are off and in the morning around the concrete seats, lots of condoms can be seen. In Dhaka University campus areas near the Art faculty, TSC up to Shaheed Minar lots of students are seen to gather under the light post, in front of Eden college, Paira tola, Central play ground at Jahangir nagar University .A leftist organization ‘lamp post' in Dhaka University paints different slogans provoking free mixing in the wall .They are engaged in different sexual acts like masturbation. In exchange female students are received monitory help in the form of food and money lend or academic assistance. The MAMA of the universities works at the gate of women hostel maintains liaison exchanging money.
Hotel/brothel/house based prostitution:
When the two big brothels in Dhaka , set up in the time of English rule, were dismantled the traditional form of prostitution. The sardarni and her girls like culture only remains in Mymensing, Goalondo , Jessore, Fultola , Banishanta under Bagerhat district . The residential hotel and house based prostitution became the culture in Dhaka and whole country as well. The wives of foreign wage earners, garments workers , different female NGO and service holder either bachelor or married for earning more income regularly visit the hotels or house .In the residential areas like DOHS, Shewrapara, Rampura, Mirpur, Mohammadpur all over Dhaka a significant numbers of peoples belonged to Police , actor ,fashion designer ,model rent house and keep women and through reliable broker like the book, Adult CD sellers of Nilkhet, Rishhkswa pullers in Ramana area, different attendants of hotels, Bar, club act as the broker or dalal to these prostitutes and their patrons . They get the commission both from the client and the patrons. In addition, the 4- 5 th floor of residential hotels of Bananni, Mohakhali, Farmgate ,Karwan bazaar, Moghbazar, Wireless rail gate Moghbazar, Kakrail , Topkhana, Nababbpur, Fakirapool , Saidebad, Nababpur are used as the hub of prostitutions. In the very morning, women from different spots enter in to the hotels wearing ‘burkhs' in the hotels and leave off at eight o'clock evening. Male attendants of the hotels keep close contact with these women. They charge 250taka for intercourse and 100 taka is allocated for hotel, 80 taka for the girl and 70 taka the attendant .A big amount from the 100 taka is distributed to different police station. Some Journalists and editors, local Political leaders are shared the money. Even some supply the women .Some time in order to show the activities prostitutes are caught and the dalal are beaten in front of hotels and they are released on bail in the following days. Lawyers are earned when they are put on court. In the name of restoration the right of women NGOs received money from western countries, ultimately, making foundation to make the profession deep rooted in Bangladesh . Name of some hotels engaged in these activities, are given below:
Hotel West Inn at Karwan bazaar,Hotel New Metro raj at karwan bazaar, Hotel Atlantic ,Gold star at Top khana, Hotel New Diamond at New Eskaton, Hotel Parassa, Hotel Captown ,Hotel Sebika,Hotel Tajhohal , Ruposhi Bangla, Rajmahal at Mahgbazar , Hotel Neptune, Green Garden at Purana Paltan Lane, Hotel Prioyjan ,Rajdoot , Super star near Shahded Nazrul Islam Sarani ,Hotels of Rajarbagh and Banani are rampant in prostitution . Even you may find girls at the lobby of Dhaka Sheraton and Sonargaon Hotel and other guest houses at Gulshan ,Baridhara area .They charge more than the hotels in different locations .
Besides these a group of business firms like the marriage media, service firm like student counseling firms uses the female staff to pacify the cheat with the clients . In this way a group of women became infected with the quasi- prostitution disease .
What does the Bangladeshi law say?
The constitutional law is committed to prevent the prostitution According to clause 18(2) of the constitution of Bangladesh the state shall adopt effective measures to prevent prostitution and gambling. Punishment and Suppression of Immoral Traffic Act, 1933 is widely used to deal the prostitution. According to the section 35 of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, 1976 the Police can order the offender to leave the Metropolitan area as per the act of Punishment and Suppression of Immoral Traffic Act, 1933 , a per the section 74 of the act Police can fine five hundred or impose the both who call and inspire the client for prostitution . Before the enter of English the Mughal/Nabab implemented Shariah law, they simultaneously tried to eliminate the poverty and implemented the law strictly. According to Sirajul Islam (1984) it is learn that during Mughal era Hid was applicable to the women engaged in adultery, If she/he is married he is ordered to be died by throwing stones, and if unmarried, he /she was ordered to be given 100 lash and if any body brought false claim of prostitution against any other was ordered to put 80 lash. Through the implementation of this law the prostitution did not become widespread.
The poor implementation of existing law and widespread corruption to halt strong economy and to make easy earning through prostitution by a group of so called VIPs are strong supporter to prostitution.
To Sum,
Prostitution is not religiously and socially supported activities in Bangladesh .Deformation of society and widespread anti- moral policy patron by different secular politicians and NGOs, prostitution became the part of our society. Shall we not be prevented from this disease?

On 30 th May, 2007, in the morning, just browsing the eyes over the dailies. Just have been stuck with the news of Miss Universe. Thundered!! No hue and cry about it, whereas some Bangladesh media was so interested that made it a box story. Except few, most of the peoples in Bangladesh can not welcome such type of program where the women, in Bangladesh called the nation of mother, walks in front of the hundreds males and females wearing bikini. Very disturbing indeed!!! When those are exposed, the private property of the individual is exposed . Unfortunately, in the evening when I was tuning Television I watched the Star Channel was showin the prizegiving ceremony of Miss Universe. I was so shameful that I did not call any body to watch the program, even if some one at my side, I had to leave the TV room!
Those who are lazy and want to earn money within short period of time women can be their prime goods to be earned money. Because it is very sensitive and public wish to pay more. It is directly controlled by the Saitan, devil. When our prophet Hazrat Muahmmad (SM) met with Jirael (AS) in the cave Hera , he came later to the house of Hazrat Khadiza (RA), the wife of the Prophet. He was fearful and asked her about it. Then she examined by putting him on the leg and opened the upper part of her. Then she concluded that if it was Satan it would stay, on the other hand, if it would be Jibreal, it would leave . Fortunately, it leaft and proved that Muhammad (SM) was met with right one. What we have learnt from it. It taught us that those who watch other than the married women's body is the fellow of Saitan or devil. These devils have dishonored women in the world . Lots of peoples suffer by the poverty which is created by this section of people. These section of the society refuse to pay a single penny to women unless enjoying his beauty and body. According to the statistics the leader of the most developed (!) country America 's earning of the state achieved from the women :
In the USA revenues from adult movies are collected $20 million, from escort service $11 million , from Sex magazine $ 7.5 million, from sex club the $5 million, from Phone sex $4.5million, from cable $2.5 million, from internet $2.5 million, from CD room $1.5million,from Noveltis $1 million and from other sources revenues worth of $1.5 million. Even from child-pornography they earn $3.0 million. (Source: The Monthly Prithibi, www.bicdhaka.com , November-2006,pp. 57) The same women trade is going on in other so called developed countries. The women around the world rush to that country to make them undress enrich their revenues. Who wants to be killed herself none human can save her.
More pathetic and frustrating when some are busy enough to amplify the culture in Bangladesh when the society logically rejected it.
Bangladeshi women appeared on the focus when the NGOs started to deal with them frequently after the liberation war since the war stricken economy and the oppressed abandoned women were available in the country. Even though the children who had no father became the prime target for the international groups. The western NGOs hooked them in order to convert in to their belief as they were oppressed by so called Pak Muslim soldiers and their allies. The news paper report after the liberation war indicates that lots of the abandoned children (girls and boys) were adopted by the western countries. Those who were in the country were attracted since in the name of women lots of foreign donations were thrown away to many high ambitious High class lady and their husband in the back to have the fortune. Some politicians, beauracrats, University teachers joined in the mission to earn extra money .This western donation made them too powerful they wanted to impact the political culture . Along with the group , the former leftists ,abandoned after the fall of communism, were accumulated with the train.
However, the question remains : what is the real position of women in Bangladesh ?
The most notable phenomenon in their mission is that they have set up the common enemy to attain their objective: Islam. Islamic principles are their common enemy .Since the leftist eliminated the Islamic principles in the Middle Asia ; they strategically joined with the Western sponsors. Moreover, they have been assisted by the Indian agency also since they have the common goal to eliminate the Islamic principles and Islamic patritic force .
Whereas Islam gave them special significance which made the Bangladeshi women queen. Those include:
1.Bangladeshi Muslims voted two women Prime Ministers avoiding the male counterpart and they used their power as much as they could .
2. According to the statistics provided by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, July 2003 there are 56.8 billion male and female out of 123.9 billion male and female in Bangladesh are economically inactive. Among them 40.1 billions are female: house wives are 28.3 billions. On the other hand, 30.1 billions out of 34.2 billions are male who are economically active and rear up these huge number of females.
Unfortunately, our males are not rewarded for their respect and responsibility towards their women family members. Brother, father or husbands are looking after their sisters, wives, mothers, daughters. In the Muslim marriage deed available in Bangladesh guarantees that a husband is liable to provide food and cloth to his wife, even he is to pay mohar to his wife .Even he is to pay mohar if he wants to divorce her .To marry another women, it is required to be ensured that his first wife had allowed his husband to marry.
Basically our religion doest not forbid to women's work, however, the Bangladeshi society is worried about the misuse of women by the mafia male and women circle in the name of women empowerment. Actually these are happened frequently. When the state can not provide the job to the women they inspire their women to engage in prostitution. These pictures are available in the western countries. The same influence hit our peaceful society and broken the peaceful co-existence between man and women. The western sponsored so called fundamentalist cum feminist creating new social problem .A feminist teacher in Jahangirnagar University made illicit relation with her male student made huge controversy and lots of new social problem is creating for the invasion of so called ‘empowerment culture' .Not only this but the wife interchangeable clubs influenced by the western countries made our society .Recently members of the Dhaka club women crippled in the bench of power.
Those who are under the nourishment of their husbands are too much powerful that they direct their husband to make wealth and the husband filed their property in their wife's name, recent anti corruption drive reveal the fact. And these types of women made the slum culture and lots of poor women are serving to their house as servents .Even some servents are died being abused by the lady and in different cases their liberal unmarried boys and drunkard husband. Recently a girl was working as the maid servent in the house of a houselord in the 2nd line of Mirpur section 12 ,block B, who was hanged and dead . Later that lord paid money to Thana and mananged everything. This heina is not respected in our society as it is a sin and he is a criminal.
So we can define our women as the queen in contrast to the western as well as the traditional societies. Although we are not ruled by the Islamic principles fully, yet our women are respected and protected by the clumsy form of Islamic norms.

Boys and women's misuse in Bangladeshi politics
BM DESK :
At the time of blockade program, AL and their allied parties were frequently using children and women to success their program. On 3 rd December 2006 the picture taken from Maghbazar area justified the claim about the using of boys illegally. They were shown in the street procession of LDP to chant against the former regime. In the same way woman was brought in the street to conduct a concert which was seen in Mirpur- 10 and Russel square at Sukrabad blocking the road by AL and few days ago naked little kids were brought to the street by AL which was printed in the Daily Dinkal.
Another, report from the Daily Khabor appeared that the record amount of foreign remittance came to Bangladesh 598.28 Crore taka, big part of that amount is used for the political purposes.
Child labor is illegal in Bangladesh and effort to dishonor women is also against the domestic value. So we are alarmed.
According to the statistics (2001) provided from the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics –there 3 crore 96 lac and 84 thousand boys and girls of the age 5-17. Among them 7423000 are involved in different economic activities side by side attending to school only 3 crore 8 lac and 97 thousand boys and girls attending to school only. Moreover, 40 lac boy and girls neither go to school nor do any work. The survey also depicts that those who works get average daily salary 33 taka and those who get monthly salary get 977 taka.
So it is very easy it exploit in the name of politics if they are kept idle in the name of blockade. If only 33 taka is paid they can used whatever they are dictated. Recently a heinous act committed in the High court. 14- Party supported lawyers provoked to burn the car of an fellow and one boy at about age 12, named Raju smashed the glasses of the car. He confessed to the detective branch of the Police Department while he was arrested on 4 th December 2006 night from Pirerbag at Mirpur. By the instruction of the 14 party supported lawyer he did it, he confessed. He used to work as the tea boy of the lawyer.
