Awami League's ugly face compelled the crisis!
We appreciate your effort to make aware and alarm the people about the true and violent activities of Awami League and their so called other 14 Party alliance ( who are actually the creation of the media ), though the total no. of supporters of 13 parties ( other than Awami League) are not enough to make even an executive committee for the respective party.
The world can never forget such heinous killing of a man with Logi and Boitha (the equipment used to operate the boat), more shocking is that after the man is dead, another Awami Criminal was jumping on his body. These Awami group can not be even compared with any beast. They are the black spot for human civilization. This has surpassed the human activities of uncivilized prehistoric era.
This has certainly damaged our image in the world. These Awami people are always telling lies, are very arrogant , moreover the so called ill motivated intellectual lawyers and their party chief are damaging the image of a renowned party like AL. They are threatening to block the roads, as well as to stop holding the election. But they should know that this country is not their Father’s property . They are using the name of “PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY” during all their heinous activities, though they know that a big number of people supports other parties, not them.
This is very surprising that Media is playing negative role in this respect, which is virtually aggravating the situation through out the country. Most ridiculous is, the medial calls the BLOCKADE AS PEACEFUL, WHICH INDICATES THAT THE KILLING OF PEOPLE , THE KILLING OF DEMOCRACY,THE KILLING OF CONSTITUTION , THE KILLING OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY… ALL ARE BEING DONE VERY PEACEFULLY; THEY ARE SUPPORTING ALL SUCH KILLING ACTIVITIES. They are selling their morality and reporting as their will. Time has come to think on the immoral and sabotage activities of the media.
Awami League should also analyze that the total number of people they had shown in their programs / violence , through out the whole country, should be less than 2,000,000 which is only about 1.33% of the total population ( 15 crore) of the country. This 1.33% are causing problem to normal life of the remaining 98.67% population of the country, hampering their earnings for lively hood, damaging their normal way of living; but even they are telling that they are doing this for the people.
The activists as shown in the road/ procession are all hired people, which has caused AL to spend a lot of money. Where are they getting this money? People wants to know that , this should be taken up by ACC.
My personal analysis is that this is the back drop of the democracy. For countries having financial insolvency, the democracy only serve purpose of few people. Democratic right is purchased by the so called, black moneyed politicians. World should re think about implementation of western made democracy in third world. They should introduce different MODEL OF DEMOCRACY for different country; as exists in UN, where democracy is made work worthy by introducing VETO Powers.
Without modification of the democratic concept, General mass will be severely affected and the corrupt politicians will make their fortune.
Thanks.

Dear Mr.Shamim,
Wa-alaikum-as-salam wa rahmatullah.
Thanks a lot indeed for your nice effort to aware and inform people about the commonly unnoticed events happening around every now and then. But my friend, I can not help suggesting you on a very important issue of the Language you are using in doing the job. Why in English? Why not in Bengali? I believe your whole effort will be more evaluated and the theme behind your laborious work will be better understood by the target-people you really aim at. I do not mind if you target a small group of people or the foreigners only who understands or speaks English, but for that even you have to be more careful about the correctness of the Language. The English used in your articles are full of grammatical mistakes and very poor in quality! Vocabulary and the Diction is so poor that reader gets confused of deciding whether it is written by any professional or a layman. Some sentences do not make any sense even! So, please take care of the proper language and correct English next time when you publish any new article.
I wish you all the best.
Warm regards
Didar
Thank you for the comment .I will try my best to act upon your suggestion .Your letter will be placed on the readers' bench inshallah .Hoping your further assistance in the near future.
Best regards

Transport Plan for people - not for car
Car parking needs to be reduced, and measures should ensure that only as many new cars are imported as the number that are no longer on the roads each year (one new car to replace each obsolete car, thus no increase in the absolute number of cars). That if we ban rickshaws, then private cars will increase, which will increase the problems of common people. Urged planners to implement a system which will allow the approximately 90% of the population which does not own cars to move about freely, through a combination of means: bicycles for the poorest, buses and rickshaws for the slightly better off and middle class, and walking for everyone. Against a system which allows the minority of elite car owners to take the entire roads while the majority population must suffer. Journalists to play an important role in reducing the transport problems in Dhaka City by looking further into the issue of traffic policy, and not just accepting the oft-repeated but clearly biased idea that banning rickshaws will reduce traffic jams.

Malaysia 's Hijri New Year celebration and our redundancy
Shamsuddin Ahmed:
Another Islamic/Hijri New Year is ensuing. In Malaysia it is on 10 Jan 2008. Malaysian Government, TV/Radio, schools, Masjids etc. have taken a large number of programs to celebrate the New Year. Like the past years, hope the King of the country and PM and his cabinet colleagues will say goodbye to 1428 by saying the a duaa and first celebrate the Hijri 1429 with another duaa in standing ovation at the National Masjid before the last Maghrib of the current year 1428 and the one to be said during the first Maghrib of the New Year 1429, and then attend a huge gathering on the following day at the National Stadium at Bukit Jalil. The King will offer some national awards. School kids already received the printed Duas from their schools that should be recited before the last Maghrib of the current year 1428 and the one to be said during the first Maghrib of the New Year 1429. Islamic Calendar is very important to any Muslims' life. Huge blessings we receive and expect from Allah (swt) according to this reckoning (during Ramadan, Hajj, etc.). Many things we do, we need to do according to this calendar. Our life, death and the Day of Resurrection are closely related to this lunar scientific calendar. Unfortunately, we celebrate/welcome many days but not much of Islamic New year which is closely related to the life and activities of the Great Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Dear brother Dr.Shamsudin Ahmed,
Assalamualikum
Thank you for a valuable peace of writing since the topic deserves to catch the attention to any conscious Muslim .Undeniably, Islam is part and parcel of our existence .No matter what it for the personal life , the ideology has shaped a different identity at the state level too. Unfortunately we are frequently erasing this valuable identity by dint of importing perilous and porous western New Year celebration cum ‘drinking festival' culture! It is unfortunate indeed. To check the animalistic behavior of this deviated generation, for the initiative of the administration, although the intensity plunged less than before, however, a lot more effort is absence to celebrate the Hijri New Year in Bangladesh .Even though, the social and political organizations are not conscious to celebrate this festival. Since the migration to Madina from Mecca of our Prophet Muhammad (SM) and his fellows and formation of a Madina state was, is and shall be the mark of Human civilization, we must keep in mind the significance of the day and keep trying to act accordingly thatour brother Shamsuddin Ahmed thought and realized in his passage .
Once more congratulation! You are welcome to Bangladeshmoves, but address to Bangladeshmoves clearly .Maasalam
Thanks very much. May Allah help you too. If we can do anything, please let us know.

Planet Earth
(Dedicated to sustainable healthy planet earth – Deepak Sarkar)
In this vast universe
Among seemingly infinite space and distant stars
I am the living Planet Earth
Revolving merrily as family around my star Sun!
I have been living for ages caring for millions
Mineral, oil, gas deposits act like my organs
My soil is fertile to satisfy being of all forms
Plants, insects, birds, and animals!
My oceans are mechanisms for atmospheric balance
That ensures a predictable life support system immortal!
While most sentient being respect my natural order
Humans need mining, drilling, and logging, for life and culture!
But the entrepreneurial ambitions for material gains of lust
Resembling my existence as decapitated body parts!
So it is time for humans to ask -
Is it alright to siphon last drop of oil sheltered by the rock?
Is it alright to clear cut and uproot old growth to log?
Is it alright to extract metallic ores creating miles of holes?
Don't they unitedly constitute their living abode?
It is time for humans to understand -
Thousands of years prepared my body for genetic evolution
Soon to be hostile place to live for generations!
That time may be running out to fix my scars from self healing
Making me slip/wobble during daily spin
Producing unpredictable day, night, and season!
If humans continue drilling, logging, mining for greed
Transferring earth around for quick profit
Induced imbalance may soon affect axial inclination
Causing enormous calamities leading to global devastation!
Depriving world from solstices, equinox, and celebrations
Resulting in permanent summer or winter in many regions
Triggering endless migrations, wars, and annihilations!
Hope ‘Earth Day' becomes a day of global consciousness
Respecting unison with the spirit of peaceful coexistence!

Humaun Kabir rarely writes to Bangladeshmoves, the readers really miss him!
Today his piece of writing regarding the incident occurred on 28 th October ,2006 by the Awami League directed towards the political workers of Bangladesh Jamat -e-Islami and Shibir which still hurts the hearts of the peace loving people .
Recognition of Martyr Freedom Fighter Nuru and Atique of Bhairab Bazar
Almost thirty eight years after, Bangladesh was born out of East Pakistan still Nuru and Atique martyr freedom fighters of Bhairab Bazar not yet recognized by Bangladesh . Any awards and mementos so far not yet announced for those martyrs acknowledging their contributions except naming a municipal library.
President Zillur Rahman, the then time as a vibrant leader of Awami League visited families of martyr Nuru and Atique and pay due respect for their departed soul and assured that their contributions will be gratefully remembered by the nation. Immediate after liberation Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman in a big public meeting at Bhairab Bazar recognized contributions of Nuru and Atique.
In last couple of yeas some Bengali national dailies of Bangladesh published post editorials and articles on martyr “Nuru and Atique” written by me and by the co-freedom fighters. The entire region i.e. sub-sector 3 of sector 3 people will concede that Nuru and Atique were great freedom fighter who took part many operations including in a broad-day-light operation at Bhairab Bazar on 4 th July 1971 that killed notorious collaborator Mumtaz Pagla. As Nuru and Atique was student so their contributions were abnegated for long time. But nobody can isolate their contributions as freedom fighter. Bangladesh must accept their contribution and place their name in the history of liberation war.
I would like to appeal to The Honorable President of Bangladesh who knew Nuru, Atique and me personally as freedom fighter, and to recall our past contributions. It will be a shame for Bangladesh that we have done nothing specially to honour Nuru and Atique's memory although they deserve it. We must recognise the sacrifices they made for us.
