After 'Hyperion'- 'Living Comfort Ltd.' starts sound pollution and my sick father at home.

Muhammad Shamim Akhter, 30 June, 2011: Revised on 17 Decmber-2011:

A.

Aren't we being looked after by law enforcers authorized by law which is made in the Parliament? If so, then the soundness of the political system depends on how fairly and how entirely the laws of a country are enforced. Whether the laws may be impossible to be enforced should be decided earlier to be passed as bill. It is very sympatric that law is a tool of exploitation of the interest groups as well as the particular class who are the mightier than the mass. The transparency and accountability is less visible than it is prescribed.

Yesterday my father was hospitalized due to cardiac problem. He has been suffering from this disease for a long but it was not so acute. The day before yesterday, he felt chest pain and has been hospitalized yesterday at Mirpur Heart Foundation Hospital . Although he retired as a Divisional Director of Family Planning of Khulna, it is interesting that, it is the person who does not want to be treated from any Government Hospital . He was treated from Apollo Hospital but does not want to go to National Heart Institute at College Gate in Dhaka . One of my relative was hospitalized there and became cured of nearly two years ago being spent only 5- 6 thousand taka. The other days my mother was affected by bacteria in his eye lid and was attended to a doctor of Purobi Cinema hall by 600 taka; on the other hand, I was treated by a doctor of Lions Eye Hospital at Agargaon for the same disease for that I had to spend 140 taka ( Doctor fee=40 and Gautiflox =100). Was there any problem to me. Other relative had to face another problem at Hospital for Kidney Disease at Shamoly. For four days of stay there, the patient alleged that he found no specialist doctor there and lastly he head to shift at Lab aid Hospital and cured of. The doctors of that Hospital do practice at different private hospitals and enjoy salary from there too. Had we imagined that these Banglaees would such Butchers! The overall picture of medical facility of Bangladesh is tricky. The Development is that once we had to move for better medication at India, though it is diverted, but the crossfire of tricks had not been eliminated which make bored us every now and then to such a mass people.

B.

NOT only my fathers but also my mother and I at times think about hearts, since this small organ is a vital factor to be lived healthy. The cardiac problem is a common disease and it is very interesting that the different organization of the Government does not take any measures to be eliminated this cause due to be taken practical approach.

In this regard, I shall submit the case study of Hyperion Development's RSHIDA LODGE next to my 150 no. House, under Block –B, Road -8 and section -12 Pallabi PS.

I have tried to catch the attention to the concerned authority that this project has creating public nuisance but all went in vein and it is the reality that we have been faced various cardiac problem due to their sound pollution which is created by the machine of breaking the bricks. Furthermore I tried to inform that all these done is exercised managing the local administration and if we protest has a maximum chance to be larruped. Before occurring any incident the administration remains silent and once blood is shed, it is the particular agency that search for chances to be cut the pocket since they have danda, jail and bullet. In the midst of such a democratic rule, this recklessness can not pacify us;

Now Suanjit Da is the best political player in Bangladesh . He is so dedicated to his mission that he does care about any body. He has advocated many things which have been realized by the ‘offspring of Melecho'. Recently his statement about the suffering being pained by Businessmen during Caretaker Government in relation to the realization of the dues of public fund from the alleged businessmen which is reserved in the treasury amounted by billions of taka, collected from the defaulter businessman,. My simple question: why his PM and President do not return to them in cash. The reality is that GOB is playing double game. On the one hand, they are mentoring that since the last GOB has seized their property so do whatever you like by supporting us on the other hand when the mass has been exploited the GOB is remained silent and trying their mechanism to stop any attempt which may challenge their rule. Like other cases, the lynching of the son of Mufti Fazlul Haq Amini has made so many questions. The extra judicial killing by Police –RAB has not been stopped rather it is stable in contrast of previous years.

I request to the readers who visit this site so that they may pray for the quick recovery of my father and I offer my durud and salam to our Prophet Muhammad (SA) who brought the Salat from the upper world in the night of Miraj which I offer five times and is recovered various physical ailments.

E.

On 30 June in 2011, I finished writing down up to paragraph ‘D'; today I need to inform my readers about the story I had the opportunity to be experienced. My father was recovered by the grace of Allah and released on 10 July, 2011 followed by a critical trauma since he had to given ventilation for supporting his life in the CCU of the National Heart Institute at Mirpur-2. Since 10 July, 2011 he had lived somehow good. On a date in October, 2011 he again suffered from breathing problem and lastly he had to hospitalized and checking in the emergency he was treated in the cabin where he had given medication and care. However, he was prescribed for angiogram and 3 blocks in artery of the heart was found and lastly in the last phase of the month of November-2011 he was to offer by pass surgery and alhamdulillah , he feels better but he has to suffer post surgerical trauma. Yet I convey my gratitude to the Dr. Omar Faruk and his associates, working in the National Heart Foundation Hospital , for his careful surgery. I personally thank to my doctor-friend Dr. Rifat who is an Associate Doctor of National Heart Foundation at Mirpur-2 and was cautious about during the surgery of my father. Dr. Rifat was my batch mate of HSC-1993 in Adamjee Cantonment College .

Though my father was taken surgery I need to add some information before taken to hospital from the home last time before surgery on 10-11 November, when at night his blood pressure went up to 156/96 and felt problematic at 8 P.M., I and my mother gave him juice of TAMARIND and saw amazingly that his pressure went down dramatically up to 120/82 and he felt better. Later he took meal and at the dead of night at 3.AM, he again felt ill and sine then he was hospitalized up to his surgery.

My findings suggest that when he was given Tamarind juice, I found he released some gas from the mouth and convinced me that his problem was related to formation of gas in the abdomen, lack of physical exercise. If three blocks were a permanent problem, couldn't he be given any medication to boil up the fat blocks the artery? Is surgery the last resort?

Moreover, I saw many patients there queued for surgery was middle ages and slim. However, we know that only the fat are under risk in relation to cardiac diseases. Apart from skepticism, I need to add that, though, the project of Rashida Lodge of Hyperion development has been finished, the project of Living Comfort in front of our apartment has started to jolt of sound that we really can not bear. Under the shadow of administration, old fashioned piling machines of the housing developing project create so painstaking sound that I deem a dreadful propel to the hearts of ours.

Then what is the truth about the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) notice- ‘sound pollution is a silent killer'; when such activities are going on without any pause? Many careless and coordinated activities cultivated by ‘give and take' policy have projected such problems which the Ministry of Health as well as Ministry of Environment of Bangladesh can not discharge the onus. We do not want to take the law and order in the hands, we wait for the action of the GOB.

F.

Months back I received a message from Dr. Dr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias which may be regarded as a gift to my research with the case of my father whether bypass was the last resort to cure of the disease he was suffered from. I have come to know that a EDT , one USA brand, is being prescribed to post by-pass surgery patient by Dr. harun-Ur-Rashid of National Heart Foundation Hospital which is every expansive. So far known, EDT eliminates the blocks in the heart. If such drugs are required to prescribe to the post surgery patient, was it not better to prescribe to the patient before surgery?

In support of the claim whether an alternative option may be picked up for the patient requires by-pass surgery, the following email is provided which may be a platform to draw up right decision by the concerned quarters.

Bypass the Bypass surgery

I will unhesitatingly say that I owe my life to homeopathy. In November 1999, I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease and asked to undergo immediate bypass surgery. One artery was 100% blocked and another was 75% blocked. Instead of bypass surgery, I went to a homeopath Dr. Sukumaran of Mumbai. Dr. Sukumaran, never mentioned what medicines he was giving me, but one day I heard him ask his assistant to mix Crategus oxyacantha Q with Arjuna Q and give it to me. Dr. Sukumaran has treated nearly 2000 patients who were previously asked to undergo bypass surgery.

It is worthy mentionable that the drug which the Indian doctor prescribed was likely to be made from bark of the Arjun tree. The medicinal befit of Arjun balk has been respected by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh. Recently a poster, published by the ministry has promoted to consume ‘garlic and Arjun bark' to check coronary disease.

To lessen the burden of surgery in terms of painful course of action and cost, the GOB should pass a proclamation guiding the citizen about to pick up the cost effective alternative. It is to be done on priority basis.
