Modon Mohon should not be left unpunished

Bangladeshmoves Desk, 7 August, 2011:

We can not but to worry about how a teacher belonging to a profession should always maintain logical and civilized attitude has the dare to do such remarks against our beloved Prophet (SA) and a student who had practiced his own religion. When Hindu giant figures had to be defeated in the debate again and again ; for instance, debate organized by Peace TV under state of any challenge, it is not tenable that the same settled argument should be roughly handled without any logical basis and most interestingly  in the manner which may be termed as brutal, insulting and offensive.
We urge to take exemplary punishment against Modon Mohon by the Government of Bangladesh. Unless doing so, it may be deemed that the act might have induced by the part of any other quarter closely associated with the GOB itself, rather than exclusive involvement of Modon Mohon. Noted that Mohon is the teacher of Dhanmondi Government Boys School in Dhaka who insulted a bearded student where he compared the student with a ‘goat’ in the month of July this year. Moreover he argued to the polygamy which Islam permits where he further insulted Muhammad (SA), the Prophet of Islam. In protest of it, the students of the school left the school and arranged demonstration and a general diary was lodged in the nearest Police Station by the Head Mistress of the school and a group of Officers of the Ministry of Education were sent to consult with the situation,  the Daily Naya Diganta source added.

If the inquiry report proves that Modon Mohon has really done so, it is verily expected that he should not be left unpunished.
