A.
The road is a primitive part of the civilization which facilitate to the movement of the citizens and being walked or ridden carts or cars or any other vehicles on it, it is the mankind who has been able to expand trade and commerce and being speed up, the mankind has arrived to such a height which we call ‘modern civilization’. Concept of ‘modern civilization’ could never be achieved unless roads would be invented.
In accordance with the source of Al-Quran, we know that Hazrat Adam (AS), the father of mankind, was the first inventor of round shaped wheel having ordained by Allah, which comprehended the movement of bullock carts or any other vehicles those have been invented in the following years. Necessity to road was the result of invention of wheel.
Moreover, Hazrat Noah (AS), another prominent prophet of Allah, also presented the concept of making boat by the help of Allah that has also mounted the progress of human civilization in the water. The vast waterways remained useless, unless his contribution in this regard was extended. Similarly, the airways could be beyond the reach of mankind unless Hazrat Suleiman did not cross six-month way by half a day with a gigantic aero plane which was so big that hundreds of peoples were able to be transported.
Moving towards outer space could never be contemplated unless the concept of Miraz was described and realized by the last Prophet Muhammad (SA).
Being understood the necessity to roads, Muslim rules, Famous for their good governance in this region emphasized on building road. Sultan Sher-Shah of hundreds years back first built Grand Trunk Road from Uttar Prodesh to Sonargaon of Dhaka. The civilized roads those where built by Pal kings were destroyed by the invasion of South Indian Sen Kings and since then we have been bearing the debris of Mohastan Gor. With the military expedition along with the mission of Darvish and Ulema, when Bengal area began to be rejuvenated, it was the local peoples who welcomed the Muslim rulers as they were fed up with the social deviation, discrimination and deprivation of the Sen Kings who belonged to Hindu religion.
In 1757, the rule of Muslim was formally fallen down and with the aid of Hindu, the English, the foreign invader grasped the political power where the Muslim community became marginal and from the civil service, they have been kicked of. Since then famine, terrorism, corruption, poverty, malnutrition, enmity with the land, dispute with the inherent property, infected social values – all the negative elements a nation could possess, had been programmed in our vein. Though many advising agencies, viz. IMF, UN, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Foreign Missions, are acting overtly and covertly in our country, the poverty, corruption, malnutrition, pollution, social problems are not eliminated, rather, those elements are increasing like the communicable diseases.

The condition of roads and unhealthy, jam-packed and risky service in the land and rivers that we see every year and have seen this year too and being simplified those burden as a normality by the Prime Minister during a secession on Eid day, we are again sorry that such a callous service should be executed if you are to send to Barisal, Gopalganj without SSF security and having been enjoyed such sweat and toil you say’ yes’ then, we may justify the statement. Since you will not take that challenge, such callous entertainment, shall fed up rather than serving otherwise. Amputated roads during the rainy season including routine inundation in different times of the year in some parts of the country including the capital, is one of the gravest problems the citizens are to face. During this Eid, being in the Rainy season aggravated the situation more than past. Though High Ways are the worst suffer, severely damaged roads within the capital itself, is no more exceptional to cause of suffering. Since I am the witness and worst sufferer, I should mention the situation of the road at ‘Share –egaro Bus Station’ near Pallabi Police Station that is in undated during the rainy season. The reason I found that the holes which facilitate to let the water dropping into main underground pipe of WASA are filled up with dust, polythene, sand, building materials. This scenario is years old and during last two years the mechanism of the new GOB has not taken any initiative so that the problem remained intact and on the eve of heavy rain, residents of the highest land of the city are to wet or to seek help of rickshaw puller paying more fare. Whereas during flood in 1988 when many p[arts of the capital was inundated, it was the place where no flood was experienced. Moreove, in the name of installing pipe near Pallabi Masque upto Duaripara, the roads have been made unused for last four months which could be fixed up on priority basis. The Highest authority, if not corrupted and not inclined to the subversive activities, may visit and verify the reality.
The reasons of these have been found to be of displeasure of holes of manifold. Holes of flesh which the greedy concerned officials are hanker after; have been managed by two ways: recently, for member based entertainment has been arranged to Cox’s Bazar Hotel. Apart from watching and enjoying scenic beauty of Allah, it is one of the attractions, source added, that has attracted some corrupt syndicate who gather there to jump in the holes of flesh. Apart from these illegitimate holes, to jump in the legitimate flesh hole, it is another head, where these corrupt syndicates pay a lot. The illegal money is registered by the name of wives in the shape of flat, land and once we visit to different Jeweler shops in the city, it is the holes for them they appear to be mad rush to buy ornaments with the money earned suffocated the mass peoples. What a tragedy with the holes a nation is to see now! Alike the powerful fleshy holes those reversely render male having stick allow to plunder no matter what the power station or not. To appease hole and stick, not letting the mass, pleasure of a few shall eventually turn the fate of the country in the near future, if a real patriotic force may play role which is inevitable.
The actuality of discussion is to concentrate to the holes in the streets though we have gone a long way for practical reason. Things require maintenance including roads have been delayed and the budget had been diverted to another head and since the civil society is now on the street for the death of their fellows the story of holes is mandatorily appeared in the scenario. The holes bar to the development is required to clear and the holes heavenly nourished are required to nourish under state of balance. The fate of the road users shall heavily dependent on the issue of hole and we look forward to gave turn in this regard. May Allah help us.
